2016 Community Enrichment Grant Program
Grant Information Workshop:
Tuesday, October 20, 2013, 12:00-1:30
Round Valley Library
Guidelines and application are available online at: www.communityfound.org
The Community Enrichment Grant program is available to non-profit organizations, school districts, tribes and special districts that are based in Mendocino County or to any organization with a project that has specific benefit to Mendocino County residents. It supports community-based projects that are consistent with the Community Foundation’s vision. These include projects that protect and advance the unique sense of place and natural environment found in the County, as well as projects that increase opportunities for people of all ages to lead healthy lives and to work, learn, create, contribute, and prosper.
In 2016, priority will be given to those projects that advance the Community Foundation vision while simultaneously bringing the applicant organization to the next level of operational, programmatic, financial, or organizational maturity, positioning it to more effectively and/or efficiently fulfill its mission in the future.
Total amount of funding available: up to $120,000 (grant range: $500 -$5,000 for individual awards, $5,000-$10,000 for collaborative applications)
All Mendocino County non-profits, school districts, tribes and special districts are eligible to apply. See the 2016 Community Enrichment Grant Guidelines eligibility section for further clarification and exceptions. Applicants should not hesitate to email Michelle Rich, Program Officer, at michelle@communityfound.org, if they have remaining questions or would like feedback on their proposals after attending a grant workshop and/or carefully reading the grant guidelines.
