Get on the Air!  KYBU wants to help you get your show on air. You bring the enthusiasm about the music you want to play – we will assist you with learning how to make radio. Everyone can create programming for KYBU, including music shows of all genres, talk, announcements, dramas and more!  Don’t worry if what you want to make doesn’t fit into “traditional” radio formats.  KYBU is a chance to make radio the way we want to hear it.  Download the KYBU Programmer Application.

Weekly Radio Meetings. KYBU volunteers gather every Tuesday at 5pm to discuss ongoing management of our community radio station.  Everyone is welcome!  This is a great place to present show ideas, offer comments /suggestions, learn about administrating a radio station and more!  The meetings are held at the Library Commons Community Room.

Last Sunday of the Month Workshops. KYBU volunteers host a radio production workshop the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 1pm in the Library Commons, enter on Howard St.  Each month we cover a different topic on radio production,
provide hands-on demonstrations and exercises and are available for one-on-one help and instruction.  All skill levels welcome.

Volunteers Needed!  KYBU is volunteer-run and we always need assistance with administration, fundraising, event planning, building maintenance, landscaping and more!  Contact the station or stop by a meeting to see how you can help.
