Current Situation: Crews continue mopping up and looking for hot spots within the contingency lines; steep terrain is making access difficult. Interior portions of the fire will continue to burn and may produce smoke for an extended period of time in the Laytonville area. Fire Suppression Repair and Rehabilitation will continue throughout the fire area. Excess resources continue to be released from the fire to other incidents or back to their home units.
