Mendocino County Reaches Tentative Agreement with Mendocino County
Law Enforcement Management Association (MCLEMA)
Mendocino County and the Mendocino County Law Enforcement Management Association (MCLEMA) announced today that they have reached a tentative agreement for a three year labor
contract. Chair Carre Brown stated that “As chair of the Board of Supervisors, the Board is
extremely happy that we have reached this agreement with MCLEMA, we value public safety and believe that this is a big step towards our commitment to investing in our most valued assets, the dedicated employees of the County of Mendocino.”
Kirk Mason, negotiator for MCLEMA, stated “MCLEMA is happy to announce that we have
come to an agreement with the County of Mendocino on a three year labor agreement.
MCLEMA wishes to thank the County Negotiating team for their upfront, professional
negotiation style and the Board of Supervisors for their time and attention to this round of
negotiations.”
The details of the tentative agreement will be posted online and made available with the
publication of the April 21, 2015 Board of Supervisors agenda.
